Trans Chat
Video chat with one trans person at a time, cameras on and spoken out loud. Random matches are free.
Trans Chat You Say Out Loud
Plenty of places online use the word chat for a room of people typing at each other. Here it means two cameras and two voices. You press start, a trans person appears, and the conversation happens the way it would across a table.
That changes what a first impression is. You hear the hesitation, the laugh, the joke that lands badly and gets rescued. A profile can't do any of that, and this random video chat skips the swiping and the questionnaires.
The homepage lists private texts alongside calls, so typing has its place. The opening of a random match belongs to your voice.
An invented example, not a real call
From the Button to Your First Hello
Four frames from the button to your first hello. The camera prompt takes a moment on a first visit, and most browsers remember your answer after that.
1Camera on
Press Start Video Chat and let your browser use the camera and microphone. No account needed.
2Face in view
Both people must keep their faces visible. TransChat.tv says its moderation tools detect a missing face and intervene.
3Hello
Say something easy. The other person is seeing you for the first time too, and nobody expects a speech.
4Stay or move on
If it is going well, stay on the call. If it isn't, Next brings a new match and nobody needs an explanation.
Good Manners on a Call With Trans People
A good call with a trans person starts the way any good call with a stranger starts: a small question, a real reaction, and some interest in what comes back.
The fastest way to end one is to turn it into an interview. Questions about someone's body, surgery or past name can land as an interrogation, and they are a good reason to press Next.
The Community Guidelines forbid bullying or discrimination based on gender, and an account can be suspended for it.
What Random Matches Cost, and Where Coins Start
Random matches cost nothing. You can begin matching without buying anything and without an account.
Coins come in when you want something beyond the random draw. Private sessions are charged at 120 coins per minute from your balance, and other extra features are paid for with coins too.
A private session runs on a meter, so check your balance before you start one and leave when you have spent what you meant to spend.

What the Other Person Sees
They see your face, because that is the rule, and hear your voice. The app shares your country with other users but not your exact location. Everything else in the frame is up to you, so look at the wall behind you before you press start. If you are out in public, keep landmarks, addresses and store names off camera.
Every conversation is encrypted and nothing is stored, and you don't need an account to start. Registering is optional. If you choose to, it asks for more than a call shows, and the exact list depends on your device.

- Your face
- Your voice
- Your country

- Mobile number or email
- City and gender

Leaving a Call That Goes Wrong
Nobody can promise that every stranger will be pleasant. What you can count on is a way out. Next moves you on, and the shield symbol on the matching screen opens a report with a list of reasons to choose from.
Reports are analyzed with AI tools and human moderators. TransChat.tv says it puts physical risk first and responds to all reports within 20 business days, so carry on with your evening in the meantime.
Blocking sits in your chat settings and covers someone you added or someone who messaged you directly. The safety tools page has the rest, including the rule about faces on camera.
If someone looks too young to be here, report them first and then leave. Adults only is the platform's rule, and a report is how you raise it.
Questions Before You Press Start
Do I have to be trans to use TransChat.tv?
Nothing in the Terms or the Community Guidelines requires it. They set an age rule and rules of conduct. The people you meet here are trans, so be an adult and be decent.
Why is my screen blurred?
The safety tips describe the other person's video staying behind a blur until a face is detected, unless you lift the blur yourself. Disconnect from anyone who won't show their face.
Someone asked for my Instagram. Should I give it?
The safety tips urge you to keep new connections inside the app. If the asking doesn't stop once you've said no, that's what Next is for.
Do I need a card to start?
Cards come up at the payment step, when you buy coins. If you save one there, the Delete Card button in card management removes it.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. There is a web version, and the site offers to install the app for easy access and notifications.
How do I delete my account?
Log in, open your profile, go to settings, choose Help and Feedback, then Delete Account.
My account was blocked and I don't know why. What now?
Use the account recovery contact in the Safety FAQs and the team will get back to you.
